As it was expected, Deputy President William Ruto and his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta’s divorce would be noisy and messy.
The DP in his hustler-moving speech, declared Uhuru his number one enemy, and dares him to go to hell.
Tellingly, the DP is daring the head of state, a Kikuyu prince to a political contest in Central Kenya.
The reason for the DP tirade is clear. He is desperate and bitter over their failed political marriage. And seeks to exert as much harm to Uhuru as possible
Uhuru too is desperate. He has boxed himself to a corner by supporting Raila Odinga ,and must ensure Ruto loses the August Poll.
Both scenarios are toxic. But so is the fear of failure by the President.
History can repeat itself for Uhuru. He was rejected by 70per cent of Central province in 2002. In favour of Kibaki.
Should GEMA reject their Prince in favour of Ruto on August 10, the end of the world will come for Uhuru.
The pain will be unbearable. Being rejected by natives who nearly got you jailed in Europe for standing up for their rights.
GEMA is bitter because Uhuru ‘killed’ their underworld businesses in Nyama Kima, run down roadside markets while building roads and reclaiming riparian lands.
By dragging the KRA into the messy divorce, the DP is insinuating that Uhuru is using the agency to fight GEMA-owned businesses..(no one likes paying taxes).
