The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has summoned nine Kenya Power officials to give statements regarding procurement process influence.

The Commission stated in a statement on Sunday that the nine, all of whom are members of the KPLC Board of Directors, should appear at Integrity Centers for questioning.

Abdulzaq Ali, Caroline Kittony, Njoroge Muhu, Elizabeth Rogo, and Kairo Thuo are among the BOD members called.

Sachen Gudka, Isaac Kiva, Humfey Muhu, and Vivienne Yeda are among the others.

KPLC’s tender for insurance brokers was temporarily halted last month.

Following a successful application by activist Okiya Omtatah, Judge James Makau issued the order.
