President Uhuru Kenyatta has said the Nairobi Express Way will be opened to the public In March 2022.
The President inspected the James Gichuru to Parliament section and expressed satisfaction with the speed of the works.
He was accompanied by Infrastructure CS James Macharia, KeNHA Director General Kungu Ndungu and top officials of China Roads and Bridge Corporation, the contractor.
The elevated Road section runs from Bellevue to James Gichuru.
It will eradicate traffic snarl-ups in Waiyaki Way, Uhuru Highway and Mombasa Road.
