Nominated Senator Victor Prengei, a Jubilee nominee, died as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident at Kaptembwa on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.
According to a police report obtained by Citizen Digital, Mr. Prengei was traveling from Nakuru to Ravine at around 9:15 p.m. on Monday when the accident occurred.
He is alleged to have lost control of the vehicle when he arrived in Kioto, causing it to veer off the road and crash into a wall.
The impact caused him injuries, and he was transported to Moi Memorial Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
The vehicle was transported to the Kaptembwo Police Station.
