Kenyan software firm Techno Brian has secured a tender with the Malawian government to develop an online electronic visa platform that will help the country and ease congestion , enhance the collection of fees and real-time data of incoming and outgoing visitors.
People who visit the country will be able to apply for visas online from the immigration department and from their mobile phones on the department’s website platform.
According to an article by business daily, the systems went live at the beginning of November.
The firm has had a good reputation over the years and it’s the only one that hosts a Microsofts testing center in Africa.
