Ahmed Rashid Haunted by the Ghosts of Two Dead Teenagers.

Mr Rashid worked as a police officer at Pangani Police Station, however, on Friday, March 31, 2017, everything changed after he was captured on live camera executing an already surrendering suspected criminal.

What was was supposed to be a brief encounter between two suspected criminals and Ahmed Rashid, the then-powerful crime buster in 2017 turned to be automatic U-turn to Ahmed Rashid’s Military Career.

Mr Rashid worked as a police officer at Pangani Police Station, however, on Friday, March 31, 2017, everything changed after he was captured on live camera executing an already surrendering suspected criminal.

An amateur video circulated on social media showing Mr Rashid, dressed in a maroon T-shirt, shooting at two unarmed robbers with their hands handcuffed behind their backs.

The two,Jamal Mohamed and Mohamed Dahir Kheri, the teenagers, were later identified as suspects in a crime.

In the video, an officer is seen arguing with a man in front of a crowd before pulling the man towards him.

Shots are fired moments later, and a man in the video is seen lying dead on the ground.

The officer then motions to a colleague, another cop, to hand over his gun.

He is seen standing over the suspect, one foot on his back, and later shoots him.

Later in the video, two young men are seen dead. That was back in March of 2017.

Due to human rights outcry, on Thursday, November 24, the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (Ipoa) chairperson Anne Makori identified the officer as Ahmed Rashid, revealing that he will be charged with the murders of Mohamed and Dahir.

According to reports, police began pursuing the duo after Dahir, a member of the Super Power gang, posted a photo of himself on Facebook wearing a police jacket allegedly belonging to Officer Abdi Aziz, who was killed by gangsters.
