Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has come out to condemn the government’s decision to continue with the scheduled national exams despite challenges in implementing the online lessons -By Gerald Gekara.

While addressing appearing at a Radio interview, the upright opposition principle faulted Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha for his adamant stance on continuing school syllabi online.

“Ministry of education should equalise our Education Systems so that all our school going children can have a balanced access to learning materials. Not all of our homesteads can access internet for e~learning purposes.” He said.

He also added that Kenya has a strict annual timetable that contains the education sector and urged the government to put viable measures to tackle the challenge brought about by the Coronavirus.

“We have those sectors that are regulated by tight annual timelines and Education is one of them.”

The stern Education CS has been under heavy criticism from parents who cannot afford the alternatives offered by schools and the government’s Radio timetable.
