A 36 year old man in Nairobi’s Buruburu estate was found dead after he burned beyond recognition in his car, Police say.
In a statement by the Buruburu Police, it is alleged that the guards alerted the estate leaders about an incident of a car burning at 7.am in the parking lot.
The fire was put out by the Nairobi County fire brigade team that rushed to the scene after distress calls from the estate residents.
However, Police and residents at the scene were riddled with questions over what may have transpired. According to investigating officers, the posture of the burnt body was questionable, with no sign of struggle to get out of the inferno.
The cause of death was not immediately established but police say they have launched investigations into what may have happened.
