When it comes to controversial content creator Andrew Kibe, Daniel Wabala Wesonga has seen it all.
But, before becoming a household name in Kenya, Kibe was just a lost soul seeking solace in God.
Wesonga disclosed to Nairobi News exclusively that he met Kibe years ago when he asked him for advice on specific aspects of the Bible. Wesonga took Kibe under his wing as a pastor at Faith Chapel, and they began worshipping together at a church in Lang’ata.
“I used to be a minister at Faith Chapel.” Even today, I am a preacher and a prophet stationed in Western Kenya.”
Despite their difficulties, they began creating content, and Kibe was finally employed by NRG radio, where Wesonga worked as a producer.
Kibe’s personal life, on the other hand, was in chaos as he went through a divorce and his first wife died of depression.
Notwithstanding his controversies, Wesonga portrays Kibe as a responsible father who works hard to provide for his family.
“Kibe’s mother is a prophet and God’s servant.” “Kibe’s character is only a persona we made, and no one should take it seriously,” he explained.
Despite Kibe’s relocation to the United States, Wesonga claims they are still on excellent terms.
