During an interview at 10/10 with Wills Raburu Kevin Bahati reveals that their initial plan was to get married in 2020 though his wife Diana wanted their kids in it too so that they could also see it happen – By Stephanie Mwangi.
“the wedding Is coming ,actually we were to do the church wedding this year but my wife insisted that she wanted all our kids to be there to see it happen .according to her majesty is still too young to understand and might start asking for food while people are on the line up .
And she suggested that we do it in 2022 said Bahati. They were also asked about their recent publicity stunt and they said it was a prank which was predisposed by netizens who always wished they split up. So they thought to carry out the fake breakup and see what happens
“we have gotten a lot of questions as to why we did that we did it because this has been our life for the past five years there is no post we put up on social media of either my family , my wife or even my kids without someone commenting ‘mtaachana tu ‘
Even on our anniversary when I gifted her a car people still kept on saying mtaachana tu. So we thought to ourselves let’s pretend we are not together and see how people will react “said Bahati.
They however were apologetic to their loyal fans who always pray for them and support them those are the only people who need our apology. They also got threats of people saying they would unfollow them for playing with their minds.
When Diana was asked how she deals with hate she said “there is nothing to deal with because they are people you don’t know and they don’t know you because not everyone will like you.
They admitted to having problems just like any other marriage and at this point they are in its impossible for them to just break up said Bahati.
