Police officers based in the Coast region have shot and injured 7 suspected terrorists after a fierce exchange at their hideout in Likoni’s Majengo Mapya area, Mombasa.
According to reports, officers attached to the Anti-Terror Police Unit (ATPU), the multi agency task force, acting on intel traced the asailants who were planning an attack.
The police recovered 68 Air Rifle Pellets, 5KG of Ammonium Nitrate (used to make explosives) , Nine Balaclavas Military/Police Uniforms, Military Holsters & Porches, Rifle Oil, One GPS tracker, Six Machetes, Three Knives & other assortments. 
Those arrested currently undergoing interrogations, Police say.
