Big Four Will Be My Agenda – Ruto

Once elected president, Deputy President William Ruto has stated that implementing the Big Four Agenda will be his top priority

While speaking to Saba Saba locals in the Maragua constituency, the deputy president stated that it will be a top priority for him to put aside Sh100 billion to ensure that the Big Four Agenda are completely fulfilled.

“I will make sure the pledges and commitments we made are fully implemented even as the President retires because it is I that formulated that plan with him,” he said.

Furthering his campaign, Ruto added that he, as a President will contribute funding to job development in order to address a large number of unemployed youth.

President Uhuru Kenyatta recently revealed that the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) had blacklisted nearly 14 million Kenyans for failing to repay loans.

The bulk of individuals blacklisted, according to the DP, were small traders who took loans from predatory lenders because of a lack of collateral.

The government has implemented a number of initiatives in the county, including the expansion of the Murang’a-Kenol Road and the Kenol-Sagana-Marua dual road.

Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa were among the legislators who accompanied the Deputy President.
