H.E. Prof. Petr Fiala, the prime minister of the Czech Republic, was met at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by H.E. Dr. Hon. Musalia W. Mudavadi, the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs.

The Czech Premier is now in Kenya for a three-day official visit. Prior to his formal reception by H.E. President William Samoei Ruto on Tuesday at Statehouse, Nairobi, he will have talks with top government officials and business executives.

The goal of H.E. Prof. Petr Fiala’s visit is to increase cross-sector interaction, collaboration, and partnership between Kenya and the Czech Republic.  During his visit, a number of bilateral agreements between the two countries are anticipated to be signed.

“During his visit, the Czech Prime Minister will engage in discussions with senior government officials and key members in the trade and business industry. He will also explore various places of historical, environmental, and cultural significance,” said the CS.

Kenya is resolutely committed to growing and fortifying strategic alliances with like-minded partners around the world, as this visit demonstrates.

The visiting premier was cordially welcomed to JKIA by CS Aden Duale (Defence), PS Sing’oei, Hon. Caleb Kositany, and other senior government officials.
