Former Liverpool Legend Origi Opens Fashion House

Former Liverpool striker Divock Origi has announced the launch of his own fashion label on social media.

Origi, who left Anfield after an eight-year stay to join Serie A giants AC Milan when his contract expired last summer, has frequently used his platform to show off his love for fashion.

And now, the 27-year-old appears to have taken a significant step into the fashion industry by announcing the launch of his own brand, O-Cncpts, which is an abbreviation for Origi concepts.

Posting on Instagram last night, the 2019 Champions League winner revealed a short promotional clip making followers aware of his new brand, which currently boasts just over 2,000 followers. So far, the page shows concept designs of two-piece outfits which are modelled by Origi himself.

“I think it comes from my mum, because she’s very stylish,” said Origi in 2018, when speaking to the Soccer Bible about his adoration for fashion. “I think it’s always been in me, even when I was very young I always used to combine my clothes, and I would always get compliments about my outfits.

“Every time I was given some money to go and buy some clothes I would always be very creative. I’d go into the stores and try and match my clothes.

“I’ve always tried to make outfits that bit more special and unique. I think it’s my way of expressing myself, because I’m not a big talker, I’m not really expressive in that way, but I am in the way that I dress.”
