CJ Koome Swears In Copyright Tribunal Chair, Lenjo

According to the Chief Justice, the chairperson and members of the copyright tribunal were sworn into office this morning at the Supreme Court Building.

CJ Martha Koome Witnessed the swearing-in of Elizabeth Lenjo as the chairperson of the Copyright Tribunal.

Lenjo together with other members of the tribunal will be tasked with supporting, promoting, and protecting the intellectual property rights of the people of Kenya for a period of five years.

According to the Chief Justice, the chairperson and members of the copyright tribunal were sworn into office this morning at the Supreme Court Building.

CJ Koome congratulated the chairperson, Elizabeth Lenjo, and other members for their competitive recruitment, appointment, and installation to steer the Copyright Tribunal for a period of five years.

“The Copyright Tribunal is one of the institutions that are intended to further the objectives of Article 40(5) of the Constitution which instructs the State to support, promote and protect the intellectual property rights of the people of Kenya.” Said CJ Koome.
