Family Demands Justice For Teacher Who Was Stabbed By Estranged Boyfriend

The Family of a 30-year-old teacher, is demanding justice after she was stabbed three times by her estranged boyfriend on Monday. 

The teacher, a mother of two, is currently battling for her life at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Aga Khan Hospital in Mombasa. 

The suspect, a banker in Changamwe, allegedly called the teacher to sort out their misunderstanding before stabbing her after she refused his pleas to reunite. 

Rachel’s sister, recalled the distress call and the incident.

“I received a distress call that my sister was being rushed to Aga Khan Hospital. I understand they had a misunderstanding and my sister was calling off the relationship and the gentleman couldn’t take it. He did not take it kindly and in the process of arguing the guy ended up harming her,” recalled Rachel, the victim’s sister.

She was rescued by bystanders and taken to Port Reitz Hospital for first aid. 

She was referred to Aga Khan Hospital for surgery and then to the ICU where she is stabilizing fighting for her life.
