Detectives from Gilgil, Nakuru County, are following a criminal group that has been roughing up members of the public.
According to the DCI, culprits loaded them into a white Toyota Noah and stole them of their belongings.
The notorious knife-wielding gang of four guys, including the driver, picks out specific targets in remote regions, frogmarches them into their car, ties them up and blindfolds them, then robs and dumps them.
A lone man who was waiting for a matatu by the roadside in Gilgil yesterday morning was bundled into the same vehicle before being robbed of cash, some goods, and Cooperative and Equity Bank ATM cards.

After being compelled to give the pin numbers for the atm cards, the handcuffed and blindfolded victim was tossed from the driving truck at Kariandusi.
Passers-by rescued him and reported the incident to the authorities.
