Former Prisons Boss Isaiah Osugo Dies Of Cancer

Former Kenyan prisons Commissioner General Isaiah Mosiori Osugo has passed away. 

He died at the Nairobi Hospital after a long battle with Cancer. 

Osugo has also received medical care in India. Even if his condition did not improve, 

In 2008, the late President Mwai Kibaki appointed Commissioner Osugo to the position of Commissioner General of Prisons. 

At the time, he was the head of the Nairobi Provincial Criminal Investigations Department (CID), taking over for Gilbert Omondi, who had retired. 

On March 19, 2019, Osugo’s term in Magerasa House came to an end, making way for Wycliffe Ogalo to take over as the new Commissioner General.
