Comedian cum Radio presenter Jalang’o has responded to a poster that claimed he was going to vie for a parliamentary seat on an ANC party ticket come 2022. – By Stephanie MWANGI.
It was written on the poster that he Jalang’o will be vying for the Lang’ata Member of Parliament seat next year with the Musalia Mudavadi owned party.
Jalang’o asked his followers to ignore the post saying that his opponents were already in panic and he has not made anything official yet.
“IGNORE!!! They have already panicked and we haven’t even announced anything”, said Jalang’o.
In 2018 Jalang’o made it clear to his fans that he is going to quit radio come 2022 and try politics.
“MP Lang’ata 2022 ,I am 35 years now with the next birthday on the 27th of April . These are probably my last five years on radio ,I will be 40 years then what else will I be doing ? Let me give back and that’s why I will be vying, I choose community development because as MP for Langata constituency I have to be able to take care of community matters.”
