Village Shocked As 70-yr-old Widow Is Killed Over Land

Security officers in Kabondo Kasipul are on the lookout for suspects in the death of a 70-year-old widow over an alleged land conflict.

Rusalina Ngeso, a widow from Kojuok B village, went missing last Thursday before being found dead.

Her body was discovered in the River Awach, roughly 12 kilometers from her house.

It had some significant slashes on the head, as well as damage to other regions of the body, raising the possibility that she was murdered.

According to Kojwach Kawere assistant chief Isaiah Ondoro, the widow may have been killed over a land dispute.
