Liutenant Colonel Dennis Makau has announced his candidature for Member of County Assembly, Kauwi Katutu Ward.
Lt. Col(RTD) Makau says he will provide quality, precise leadership if elected.
“I’m a Military man through and through. I will offer you quality leadership, not the usual empty promises”, Makau.
The Colonel was based at the Department of Defence Headquarters before he retired recently.
Makau said he will deploy military precision in serving the people of the Ward and urged them to elect him come 2022.
The Colonel said the Kitui County Assembly is crying for quality leadership to oversight the County.
“The current crop of MCAs have done their job. It is time for new, fresh blood”, the Colonel said.
The Ward is in Kitui West Constituency and is currently represented by Mrs Jane Mutua.
Colonel Makau joins a growing list of new politicians seeking leadership positions in Kitui.
They include KBC news anchor Bonny Musambi who is vying for Kitui Central Parliamentary seat among a host of others.
