Three suspects namely James Ndwiga, Ian Ndwiga and Lisa Nwiga were arraigned to answer charges with the count of conspiring to steal from Meridian Acceptances Limited in Nairobi.
Ian Ndwiga is said to have fraudulently acquired signatures from the directors of the Meridian Acceptances Limited company on dates between 11th and 23rd December 2020.
He is also accused to have stolen about Ksh 20.8 million between the year 2017 January and December 2020.
Lisa Ndwiga on the other hand stole about Ksh. 10.6 million between the year 2017 January and December 2020.
James Ndwiga who also happens to have been a director of the said company is said to have stolen approximately Ksh.23 million from Meridian Acceptances Limited.
The trio has been charged with conspiracy to commit the felony of stealing UpTo ksh.176,934,104.20 and has been released on a cash bail of Ksh.20,000 each.
