According to Kiambu Police Commander, Mohammed Babel 12 suspects have been apprehended in connection with the robbers who have been terrorizing citizens in Kiambu.
Knives and pangas have been recovered from the phone snatchers who used them to scare locals.
The police boss said the judiciary has impacted hefty fines to weed out criminals from the county.
He has urged bodaboda operators to generate a unique code for all bodabodas in Kiambu county so as to identify crooks hiding behind bodaboda riders.
