Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen has responded to claims that he threatened the life of Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua.
The vocal senator took to Twitter to express his disgust in the allegations against him, making fun of Mutua’s previous stint as Cobra Squad TV show director.
“Mr.Mutua is writing another episode of his cobra squad series.Having failed spectacularly as a leader he turned himself into a Joseph Goebbels of his county govt.”
He went on to downplay the threats recommending people to not pay attention to anything the governor has to say.

His counterpart, Kikuyu legislator Kimani Ichungwa tagged Murkomen in a tweet appearing to mock the governor’s claims. He implied that indeed ‘politics has its own smoke’
