A woman accused of killing and devouring her daughter is expected to remain in custody for ten extra days.

Kajiado Law court has allowed the DCI custodial order of a woman facing murder charges of her daughter in a bizarre incident.

Olivia Naserian is accused of cutting her two-year-old daughter into pieces and eating her intestines.

The daughter identified as Glory Njeri is believed to be been killed at their home in Kitengela Milimani Estate on Sunday.

Neighbours alerted the police after discovering Olivia eating her daughter’s remains.

She appeared before Chief Magistrate Jane Kamau, who ordered that Naserian be held in police custody for another ten days to allow officers to complete their investigations.
