Above, leading Gubernatorial candidate for Machakos County, Nzioka Waita *Muthukumi Wa Andu * is at Kangonde Primary School, in Kangonde Sub location -Masinga Division of Machakos.
He is witnessing the ground-breaking ceremony for a social hall sponsored by the Musungas, a family who are building the project to thank God for his hand in their lives, and in honour of their late Partriach Paul Musunga.
“When God opens a door, nobody can close it. Trust God”, The matriarch Ms. Elizabeth Musunga told the pupils and parents in attendance.
“I have not come here for politics, rather I have come to encourage pupils, especially candidates that you can achieve anything you set your mind to”, Nzioka has told the pupils as he wished standard eight success in their examings which are around the corner.
Waita mentioned that he has a plan to support Early Childhood Development whereas the governor, he will take up the responsibility of remunerating teachers, building more schools and classes, and providing at least one meal for the young ones at school.
On the other hand, Bishop Masika of ACK Diocese of Yatta, a philanthropist and renowned farmer was in attendance with his wife. They happen to also be the parents of prominent singer Mercy Masika. They reminded the pupils that obedience and focus will lead to triumph in life.
