Musalia mourns death of his mother Hannah Mudavadi

Amani National Congress (ANC) Leader Musalia Mudavadi has confirmed the death of his mother, Hannah Mudavadi. – By Gerald Gekara.

The ANC leader broke the news of her demise in his social media account, who died at the Nairobi Hospital.

“On behalf of the entire Mudavadi family, I wish to announce that our family Matriarch, Mama Hannah Atsianzale Mudavadi, has gone to be with the Lord. She rested at 5.00 am today at the Nairobi Hospital. She was 92 years old,” Mudavadi tweeted.

“As a family, we are devastated by this loss but are bearing it with grace. Please remember us in your prayers. The Lord gives and the Lord takes. May our dear Mum’s soul RIP,”

Bungoma Senator Moses Weatngula, who was among the first in sending his condolence, mourned the late Hannah as a pillar and strength to her family.

“My deep and heartfelt condolences to my brother Mudavadi and family following the demise of family matriarch Mama Hannah. She’s been the strength and pillar of the family for many years. Let’s mourn in the name of the Lord,” Wetangula condoled.

Mama Hannah Mudavadi was wife to the veteran politician Moses Mudamba Mudavadi, a politician from Sabatia, Kenya, who reigned in the early post-independence years under former president Daniel Arap Moi.
