A pilot has been confirmed dead after a helicopter exploded a few seconds after crashing in Isinya, Kajiado County. – By Gerald Gekara.
Authorities report that the crash occured at the Kenya Aviation Training School, and the helicopter, an autogyrocopter was being flown by a Kenya Wildlife Service pilot.
The pilot is said to have been on a routine training exercise with the chopper, when the AutoGyro aircraft model Mtosport 2010 went down at about 7 am.
Investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the crash.
