Muisuni High School in Kangundo, Machakos County, was Sunday left in mourning after one student was killed and another injured after the institution’s pit latrine caved in.
Muisuni High School Director Robert Thyaka said the collapse was as a result of the heavy rains that have pounded the area.
Kangundo OCPD Benjamin Ongombe whie confirming the incident, said the body of the deceased was taken to Kangundo Hospital Mortuary while the injured was taken to the hospital.
