No Show: Court Dismisses Three Petitions Against Sakaja

Three petitions challenging the nomination of Senator Johnson Sakaja have been dismissed by IEBC for want of prosecution

Complainants challenging the nomination of Senator Johnson Sakaja skips court proceedings under unclear circumstances placing Senator Sakaja’s degree saga case at an advantageous state.

Elizabeth Nzilani petition against the nomination of Senator Johnson Sakaja dismissed by the IEBC Disputes Resolution Tribunal for lack of appearance. On June 12,2022 the petitioner did not appear in court for prosecution of her petition.

The IEBC Committee dismissed the petition without orders as to who should bear the cost.

Evans Kaita’s complaint filed at the IEBC against the nomination of Senator Johnson Sakaja also dismissed by IEBC for want of prosecution.

The said complainant did not appear in court before the IEBC Committee to prosecute his case against the said Senator.

Alex Abere the third petitioner’s complaint was also dismissed by IEBC for want of prosecution.

Technically all the petitioners challenging the nomination of the said Senator individually, deliberately chose to skip court proceedings hence sabotaging their case against the Senator.
