The third edition Governors following the 2010 constitution are headed for a battle with EACC.
Barely a month after taking office, Meru County Governor Kawira is accusing the EACC of witch hunt….and interference in her marital affairs.
Turkana Governor Timothy…is also in the rocks with EACC over his academic papers…and 10 other Governors are being trailed by EACC over nepotism, tribalism and misuse of office…even before they have settled in office.
So what is fueling this animosity against her ladyship the Governor of Meru?
The lady was elected on an independent ticket. Neither Kenya Kwanza nor Azimio.
She was a protect vote against Kiraitu Murungi. And now is on her own.
She has since embraced President William Ruto party. And is on course to drive the hustler agenda in Meru.
Other Governors are watching the events in Meru with anxiety. They know when the season of impeachment commences, it doesn’t stop.
