This Is Politics, Keep Up — Waiguru To Ngirici

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has scolded Woman Representative Wangui Ngirici, stating that she will not be intimidated by her only because she joined the UDA after her.

She stated that the United Democratic Alliance is a national political organization that should not be treated as personal property.

“This is politics and you can’t mistreat me because of my late entry. As a matter of fact, you have no say as far as elective seats are concerned; the electorate do! After all, isn’t it captured in the parables of the Good Book that those who arrived early and late received the same payment?”

Waiguru spoke at her official residence in Kagio, Kirinyaga county, on Thursday evening after meeting 200 bodaboda riders who had made the rounds in Kerugoya, Mwea, Kagumo, and Kagio delivering peace messages.

Waiguru’s remarks come just days after Ngirici warned Waiguru to be cautious in the party because she was a newcomer.

Ngirici claims she helped start the party from the ground up and is familiar with its challenges.

“Those who believe they have direct access to UDA should be patient since they have yet to pass through the kitchen door. They can’t just go in until I say hello “she stated
