President Uhuru Kenyatta has named Mary Mwadime as the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority board chairman.

According to a gazette notification dated April 28, the change in guard will take place on April 30.

Mary Mwadime will replace James Kembi Gitura.

Military man, Capt. (Rtd) Lawrence Wahome; Robert Nyarango, and Terry Kiunge Ramadhani as Board of Directors for a three-year term starting April 30, 2021.

Mr. Gitura was moved to the Communications Regulatory Authority earlier this month, during a pending probe into the Authority’s Ksh7.8 billion Covid-19 procurement fiasco, a decision that Kenyan lawmakers opposed.
