US Issues Travel Warning To Americans Visiting Kenya

The US has issued a travel warning against Kenya because of Covid-19 and terrorist concerns.

The United States issued the warning to its nationals on Wednesday, advising them to reconsider traveling to Kenya because to Covid-19.

“You risk of contracting Covid-19 and developing severe symptoms… before planning any international travel, please review the CDC’s specific recommendations for vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers,” the advisory read.

Due to Covid-19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a Level 3 Travel Health Warning for Kenya.

“You risk of contracting Covid-19 and developing severe symptoms… before planning any international travel, please review the CDC’s specific recommendations for vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers,” the advisory read.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued an Incidence 2 Travel Health Notice for Kenya in June, suggesting a moderate level of Covid-19 in the country.

Citizens are advised not to travel to the Kenya-Somalia border and some coastal locations owing to terrorism, as well as areas of Turkana County due to crime, according to the alert.
