A woman has been charged of forging 347 birth certicates and 8 death certificates. The accused, Jackline Kwamboka Abuga, is alledged to have forged the certificates and purpoted them to be genuine certificates issued by the department of civil registration.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate, Francis Andayi she pleaded not guilty to the charges.
It is not yet clear how and why she forged such a huge number of birth certificates and death certificates.
She will be released on a bond of Ksh. 500,000 and an alternative cash bail of Ksh. 300,000.
The hearing of the case has been set on 15th May, 2019.
