Churches Increase Capacity Despite Covid 19 Surge in UK

Starting this week, Churches and religious centers will review their capacity to accomodate 2/3 of its capacity. 

This is after President Uhuru Kenyatta eased COVID-19 restrictions after a decrease in cases. 

However, concern is rising over an increased  in COVID-19 cases in the UK. 

Health authorities reported 45,000 in the last 14 weeks, prompting specialists to warn of a Christmas lockdown. 

A total of 44,985 persons have tested positive for the disease since the epidemic began, bringing the overall number of infections to 8,734,934. 

There were another 135 deaths in the United Kingdom, bringing the total number of Covid victims to 139,461. 

The increase in cases today is the most on a Saturday since July 17, when 54,674 people tested positive. 

Cases increased by 49,298 yesterday, with 180 more deaths reported. 

As the number of cases grows, there are fears that another lockdown will be implemented.
