Peter Fredrick Kimani Mbugua, who appeared before Milimani Courts charged with obtaining money by false pretense has been released on a free bond.
He was accused of obtaining a total sum of Ksh. 3 Million from one Rose Mwaura.
Mr. Mbugua denied the charges but requested 2 days to organize a funds drive so as to refund the money.
He has been ordered to deposit a 500,000 cash bail.
Mr. Mbugua said he has written some cheques that will mature on November 15, and has been asked to pay the remaining balance.
The court set November 22 for confirmation that he has paid the full amount.
