DP Ruto To Camp In Busia

Deputy President William Ruto will be in Busia on Wednesday, expected to hold stopovers in Changara, Teso North, on his itinerary.

Between 10 and 11 a.m., the second-in-command will travel to the markets of Logiri, Nambale, and Andungosi.

DP Ruto is expected to stop at the Bulanda junction in Matayos about midday before continuing to the Murumba market at 1 pm.

He is expected to resume his onslaught against Raila Odinga, his arch-rival in the 2022 polls.

Dr Ruto said the narrative about the existence of a “deep state and system” is a myth and should be ignored during a visit to Kakamega and Bungoma counties on Tuesday.

” I am the Deputy President. I want to assure you that there is nothing like ‘deep state and system’. It’s voters who decide on their leaders from the grassroots to the presidency,” said Dr Ruto.

He claimed that 50 affluent persons could not gather in a Nairobi corner and decide on the type of leaders Kenya should have following this year’s elections.
