Sub-county Police Commander Peter Mwanzo has confirmed the driver of a Toyota Probox caught speeding with a screaming female passenger has been arrested.
The vehicle, which was traced to a company, was also impounded at the Kasarani Police Station.
Mr Mwanzo said the driver had taped a statement in which he claimed the woman, a Kenyatta University medical student, was his girlfriend.
He narrated that the lady had refused to spend the night with him prompting an argument that dragged on to the busy highway.
He will be charged with dangerous driving at a court of law.
