Sprinter Ferdinand Omanyala Omurwa made a tremendous 10.00 seconds finish on Heat One, at the Tokyo Olympics 100M Semi-Finals.
Omanyala finished a tight third behind USA and Canada, setting a national record and a personal best.
However, he failed to qualify for the Men’s final race.
Mark Otieno was prevented from competing in the men’s 100m heat at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on Saturday.
This was after reports that he had tested positive for doping.
He has since appealed the decision.
