Waititu Barred From Disposing Ksh 1.9 Billion Property

Anti-Corruption Court bars former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu from disposing of assets and vehicles targeted by EACC in an asset recovery suit worth Ksh. 1.9 billion.

He supposedly obtained the aforementioned assets while serving as Kabete’s MP.

The assets comprise two popular buildings and a hotel altogether valued at 662 million shillings.

Waititu was also ordered to submit the cars and logbooks within seven days.

Waititu was also prevented from selling seven motor vehicles valued 24 million shillings until the outcome of the case.

He was also restrained from collecting income generated from Delta Hotel, listed as the fourth defendant in the case.

The matter will be mentioned again on 24 May.
