Gachagua Promises New Bus For Kapsabet Boys After Accident

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has expressed condolences to the Kapsabet Boys High School community following a tragic tragedy on Saturday that killed a student and injured several others.

The bus carrying 61 children, one teacher, and a driver crashed near Patkawanin on the Kabarnet-Marigat route in Baringo County.

DP Gachagua paid a visit to the school on Sunday morning to mourn the two’s tragic deaths, expressing faith that the  wounded would soon be healed.

Gachagua said he will speak with his boss, President William Ruto, who is an alumnus of the school, about gifting the school another bus.

“I will talk to him later in the day and I am sure that the President will give you another bus to replace that one so that you are able to continue with your tours,” he went on to say.

The second-in-command advised drivers, particularly those transporting schoolchildren, to be cautious to avoid similar sad situations.
