Kalonzo Musyoka, leader of the Wiper party, may be headed for the presidency in the 2022 elections.
The Wiper leader, is set to make a statement on the same.
Kalonzo stated that the moment for “President Kalonzo Musyoka” had arrived and that he was fully aware of Kenya’s needs and political problems.
Despite being in Nairobi, Kalonzo did not attend Raila’s rally at the Kamukunji grounds.
Instead, the Wiper leader met with his newfound ally, KANU chairman Gideon Moi, as his allies announced that they are taking the Azimio to court.

In an interview with Citizen TV, Maanzo expressed confidence that ODM Party leader Raila will not choose Kalonzo as his running mate, claiming that the way he has been treated in recent months is proof that he is not the chosen one.
“You can see the chemistry that was there in 2013 and 2017 is no longer there,” he said of Kalonzo’s treatment over the last month.
Kalonzo and Raila have only campaigned together in Turkana since joining forces on March 12, as suspicions between them grow.
Kalonzo has been eyeing the DP position and even reconsidered his decision to skip the Azimio running mate selection panel interview, claiming that he didn’t want to give anyone a reason to pick him as the deputy.
Charity Ngilu (Kitui), Hassan Joho (Mombasa), Lee Kinyanjui (Nakuru), and Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega) were also interviewed for the running mate position by the panel last week.
