KDF, Kenya Police officers arrested in connection with Nairobi West ATM heist

Detectives based in the Directive of Criminal Investigations have nabbed security officers suspected to have colluded in the infamous Ksh. 72M Nairobi West ATM robbery.

Police Constables Simon Gichui based in Baringo County, Florence Wanjiru of the Githurai Police Post and Caroline Waithera who is based in Kiambu county, have been taken into police custody.

A KDF corporal Eunice Wangari of the Kahawa Garrison barracks was also arrested in the ongoing investigations.

A vehicle believed to have been a proceed of the heist was also taken in by the authorities.

On September 7th, a police officer was arrested with 4 Million shillings believed to have been from the heist.
