Apple, a well-known American company, has invented a charger that can communicate with devices, according to AppleInsider.
A description of the new technology has already appeared in the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) database.
In the document “Additional devices interacting with electronic devices”, there is information that wireless charging, thanks to special sensors, can independently analyze which gadget it is connected to and exchange data with it.Â
In addition, the accessory can independently reduce the ability to work in case of overheating of the iPhone.
This patent also discusses the possibility of detecting accessories. If smart charging detects the presence of a case on a smartphone, it will automatically reduce or increase power, depending on the type of accessory.
Furthermore, the device includes a “magnetic field vector authentication” function. This feature enables the charger to detect all devices that are connected. As a result, the charger can only be used with the accessory’s owner’s smartphone.
