Pronto Denies Acquiring Iconic Hilton Hotel In Nairobi

Pronto Restaurant, a popular Nairobi dining establishment, has issued a statement denying recent rumours that it had purchased the prestigious Hilton Hotel building.

According to Pronto Restaurant’s management, a fake poster had been circulating online, implying that the restaurant had taken over the iconic hotel’s premises.

The restaurant’s management has since clarified that this information is completely false and that business will continue as usual.

The company’s current branches are Pronto Restaurant Wabera Street, Pronto Restaurant Standard Street Branch, Pronto Restaurant Aga Khan Walk Branch, Pronto Restaurant Kimathi Street Branch, and Pronto Coffee House, according to the statement.

The opulent hotel, which the government owns 40.57 percent of, ceased operations in December.

The hotel claimed that COVID-19 presented previously unheard-of challenges to the hospitality industry, and that the decision to cease operations has no immediate connection to the pandemic.
