Ruto: Msambweni win proves Kenyans want Consensus

Ruto was speaking at the burial of Nalangu Enole Ntutu, the mother of Stephen Ole Ntutu who is a former Narok Senator.

He was accompanied by Labour CS Simon Chelugui, Governors Samuel Tunai (Narok); Hillary Barchok (Bomet) and Joseph Ole Lenku (Kajiado) as well as MPs Korei Ole Lemein (Narok South); Soipan Tuya (Narok) and David Ole Sankok (nominated).

Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro said the Msambweni by-election means that Kenyans were more interested in consensus of the BBI document.

The leaders spoke after a celebrated victory in Msambweni constituency where independent Candidate Feisal Bader won the seat.

He garnered 15,251 votes against Boga Omari (ODM) who got 10,444 votes in the Tuesday by-election.
