BY PRUDENCE WANZA – Two people have been charged with stealing a motor vehicle at Wilson airport. Mohamed Farah Karur alias Koroto and Aden Kosar Keinan are accused of stealing motor vehicle registration number KCL 796U of make Toyota Hiace valued at Ksh.2.6m,property of one Alice Ochola.
They are alleged to have committed the offence on the night of 5th and 6th May,2019 at Wilson airport in Nairobi. The two face a second count of handling stolen property.
They are accused of dishonestly undertaking the disposal of the said motor vehicle at Ismaj Garage in Garissa town for their own benefit having reasons to believe the vehicle was stolen.
They are alleged to have committed the offence on 20th September, 2019. They denied the charges before chief Magistrate Francis Andayi.
The two were released on bond and cash bail of Ksh. 500,000.
The case has been set for hearing on 28th October, 2018 and a mention on 7th October, 2019.
