Woman Wants Husband Who Attempted To Kill Her Jailed For Life

A woman whose husband has been convicted of attempting to murder her wants the husband to be sentenced to life in jail.

The woman, Margret Jelagat through her lawyer told Eldoret Court that the incident caused her serious health complications after the accused cut her head and hands with a panga.

According to the prosecution, the convict, Godfrey Kipkoech committed the offence on April 20, at Chebisaas Boys School in Moiben, Uasin Gishu County.

The court was told that the victim was crippled and is not yet to recover from the injuries.

The Court ruled that the prosecution had proved their case beyond reasonable doubt to warrant a conviction.
