KCSE Results To Be Released on 10th May — CS Magoha Confirms

The 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results will be announced by May 10, the Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha now says.

The Cabinet Secretary pronounced the exercise a 99.9% success while speaking at the Nairobi School on Wednesday morning, where he supervised the completion of the exams.

After months of confusion created by the COVID-19 pandemic, he congratulated the 752,891 students who actually sat for their exams.

27 officials were relieved of their respective duties as center directors, inspectors, or invigilators as a result of charges of breaking examination administration rules.

The Ministry of Education will send their names to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) for disciplinary action.

Over the same time period, 37 civilians were detained for trying to conduct test fraud, including three university students. 53 cellphones were also recovered from students around the country.
